About Me
a multidisciplinary artist
Communications associate for an international human rights non-profit by day, artist all the time. Diana received her BFA in Photography from Arizona State University, and her MA in International Development from The New School in New York City. Diana Alsip is a multidisciplinary, visual artist, using photography, printmaking, and ceramics. Diana's work engages with themes of memory, the family archive, and belonging. She is currently experimenting with found and personal family images, film, and alternative photography processes. These diverse mediums allow her to create objects (including photographic objects) that construct imagined futures and re-imagined pasts within a larger system of collective memory and experience.
